The December 8th Show at Conklin Barn 12/8/2007 (Videos coming soon!) Well, this was a MEGA-show! We decided to try a faster rotation with 2 songs for each performer per rotation. As usual, Mark was excellent as the MC for the evening (he even showed us a few new dance moves!). Here is the list of performers from left to right: Adam Harper, Rob Coffin, Eric Herz, Michael Wells, Tim Huss, Jenn Ostrowski/Strobel, Bill Goldsmith, Mark Hussey (emcee), Estelle Henrich , Nick Ventresca, Suzanne Ernst,
Present but not shown: Maria Elaina
Suzanne Ernst and Estelle Heinrich
Members not present: Dennis Westbay, Mike Capraro, James Miller, Isabella David The August 22nd meeting at the Bar Harbour Library went well, after the technical problems were worked out. It started with a Tai Chi Lesson from Suzanne Ernst, who I understand teaches classes. Suzanne was first up with a Song called “A Month’s Worth of Sky”. This was a very upbeat song with nice bluesy guitar asking very important questions about dreams. Next up was Slap Jackson (Vince Gangi), with excellent guitar work, and his signature raspy blues voice with a hint of Louis Armstrong. It was another upbeat song about a good relationship. Jenn Strobel worked on an extended version of “Better Late Than Never” one of the songs from her play. Michael Wells did his new song: “Waves". The song is about new love. Mike Svezia played “What They Said You Did” in his amazing Bonzo Dog Band meets John Lennon meets Frank Zappa meets Firesign theatre style. Mark Hussey added a very topical song called “Culture Shock “ with excellent lyrics, and a good sound. Everybody agreed that it was a productive meeting and we are all looking forward to the next one. Also, We wish John Marranzini the best, and we hoping he can make the next meeting. 1 Suzanne- A months worth of sky 2 Vin- I got it bad for you 3 Jenn- Better late than never 4 Mike W- Wave 5 Mike S- What they said you did 6 Mark- Culture shock
